We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. It’s been a busy start to 2012 for the team at Mosaic Events and we are all looking forward to an exciting 2012 with lots of events taking place throughout the UK.
2012 will of course be the year of the Olympic and Paralympics Games coming to the UK, the games are being held in London starting from the 27th July 2012, today marks 199 days until the start of the Olympic Games with various initiatives being launched across the UK.
All different regions in the UK are involved with the games and locally Mosaic Events are working with imove – which is a Cultural Olympiad programme within Yorkshire for London 2012. imove explores and celebrates human movement, See the imove website for all of the arts, sports and cultural events taking place and how you can get involved.
with an additional bank holiday on Tuesday 5th June 2012.
Within York we have an action packed agenda also to get involved with : the Mystery Plays, the Olympic Torch coming to York, the opening of The Sweet History of York, the Festival of Ideas and the launch of the Science and Innovation Grand Tour.
It is always worth remembering when planning events it is always vital to check what national and local events are happening to ensure that you do not lose any potential delegates.
